The Writers Guild of America, East
invites you and one (1) guest to attend a screening of

JOKER
Followed by a Q&A with
Todd Phillips & Scott Silver

Co-written, directed and produced by Todd Phillips, along with co-writer Scott Silver, JOKER stars Joaquin Phoenix in this character study of a man struggling to find his way in Gotham City’s fractured society. Longing for any light to shine on him, he tries his hand as a stand-up comic, but finds the joke always seems to be on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty and, ultimately, betrayal, Arthur makes one bad decision after another that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events.

This invitation is nontransferable, seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Screenings are overbooked to compensate for no-shows.

RSVPs do not guarantee seating, and no one will be admitted once the film has started.

RSVP Cancellation Policy & Three Strikes Rule

We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel your attendance at an event. If that happens, you must provide adequate notice of your cancellation or else you will incur a late-cancellation penalty.

For all screenings or events, unless otherwise specified, you must cancel at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the event to avoid a penalty.

Cancellations must be made by email to events@wgaeast.org; phone cancellations will not be accepted.

After missing three screenings without sending a cancellation notice to events@wgaeast.org within the defined window, you will be notified that you have been placed on a three-month hiatus from attending WGAE events.

Please note that is your responsibility to track your reservations and strikes. You will only be notified upon your third and final strike that you have been placed on hiatus.

Our priority is ensuring that our programming is robustly attended and accessible to all members. The 24-hour policy allows the Guild time to open a screening or event to people on the wait list, and provide them sufficient time to RSVP. We hope this policy will enable us to better serve the needs of all members.
