Behind Hollywood’s Diversity Problem

The Writers Guild of America, East represents thousands of television writers, and we have been actively working to address the lack of diversity in writers’ rooms, a problem that has been talked about for years to little effect. As our members reported in a recent survey, the problem is not the lack of talent; it’s the lack of opportunity.
